When anyone wants to visit a site, you just simply need to open the web browser and type the specific link(URL) into the address field. The web page is actually a "resource" that your browser is locating. URL can help you find images, videos, or pdf files, or any type of document.
A URL is a web address just like you have a house address. You use your home address to find your friend's home or the required place. The browser uses the URL which you entered to find the required web page which you want.
